Grease Injection Head (GIH)
DeepWiki – The well service authority

Grease Injection Head (GIH) is used when running braided/mono line. This is the main barrier in wireline operations. The wire runs through the GIH, which contains several flow tubes. Those flow tubes has got minimal bigger ID then the cabels OD. Wireline grease is then being pumped inside the flowtubes between the cable and the flowtube with a segnificant higher pressure then measured inside the well, isolating the wellhead pressure from the atmosphere.
